Ayesha reported,

I heard the Prophet ﷺ say in one of his prayers, "O Allah, grant me an easy reckoning."When he finished, I asked, "Prophet of Allah, what is the easy reckoning?"He replied, "It is that He looks into his book and overlooks his sins. Whoever is questioned closely in the reckoning on that Day, Ayesha, is doomed. Every affliction that strikes the believer, Allah expiates his sins through it, even a thorn that pricks him."

عن عائشة قالت

سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول في بعض صلاته اللهم حاسبني حسابا يسيرا فلما انصرف قلت يا نبي الله ما الحساب اليسير قال أن ينظر في كتابه فيتجاوز عنه إنه من نوقش الحساب يومئذ يا عائشة هلك وكل ما يصيب المؤمن يكفر الله عز وجل به عنه حتى الشوكة تشوكه
