The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hand me the prayer mat from the mosque."She said, "I replied, 'I am menstruating.'"He said, "Your menstruation is not in your hand."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن ثابت بن عبيد عن القاسم بن محمد
قال رسول الله ﷺ ناوليني الخمرة من المسجد قالت قلت إني حائض قال إن حيضتك ليست في يدك
Its isnad is sahih. Thabit bin Ubayd is the freed slave of Zayd bin Thabit al-Ansari, and he is trustworthy, his hadith being found in the collections of the Jamaah. The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 1/244, no. 298, in the chapter on menstruation, and by Abu Dawud, 1/68, no. 261, and by Tirmidhi, 1/241, no. 134, who said it is hasan sahih, and by Nasai, 1/146, no. 271, and by Ibn Majah, 1/207, no. 632, all of them in the chapter on purification.
