Ubayd bin Umayr reported,

Word reached Ayesha that Abdullah bin Amr was instructing women, when they performed the ritual bath, to undo their hair. She remarked, "How astonishing of Ibn Amr! He instructs women, when they bathe, to undo their hair. Why does he not order them to shave it off altogether? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I used to bathe from a single vessel, and I would do no more than pour water over my head three times."

عن عبيد بن عمير قال

بلغ عائشة أن عبد الله بن عمرو يأمر النساء إذا اغتسلن أن ينقضن رءوسهن فقالت يا عجبا لابن عمرو وهو يأمر النساء إذا اغتسلن أن ينقضن رءوسهن أفلا يأمرهن أن يحلقن لقد كنت أنا ورسول الله ﷺ نغتسل من إناء واحد فما أزيد على أن أفرغ على رأسي ثلاث إفراغات
