A guest stayed with Ayesha, and she ordered a yellow wrap of hers to be given to him. He slept in it and had a wet dream. He felt embarrassed to send it back with the traces of the wet dream on it, so he dipped it in water and then sent it back.Ayesha said, "Why has he ruined our garment for us? It would have been enough for him to rub it with his fingers. I used to rub it from the garment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my fingers."

نزل بعائشة ضيف فأمرت له بملحفة لها صفراء فنام فيها فاحتلم فاستحى أن يرسل بها وفيها أثر الاحتلام قال فغمسها في الماء ثم أرسل بها فقالت عائشة لم أفسد علينا ثوبنا إنما كان يكفيه أن يفركه بأصابعه لربما فركته من ثوب رسول الله ﷺ بأصابعي
