The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, Ubayy said, and Yala did not raise it as a marfu report, about a man who divorced his wife, and she then married another husband who consummated the marriage with her, but he divorced her before having relations with her. Is she lawful for her first husband?The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "She is not lawful for the first husband until the second tastes her sweetness and she tastes his."

سئل رسول الله ﷺ قال أبي ولم يرفعه يعلى عن رجل طلق امرأته فتزوجت زوجا غيره فدخل بها ثم طلقها قبل أن يواقعها أتحل لزوجها الأول فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا تحل للأول حتى يذوق الآخر عسيلتها وتذوق عسيلته
