It is mentioned that when the last ten nights of Ramadan began, the Prophet ﷺ would spend the nights in worship, wake his family, and tighten his waist-wrapper.Sufyan said, "One of the last reports I found."
حدثنا سفيان عن ابن عبيد بن نسطاس يعني أبا يعفور عن مسلم عن مسروق
تذكر عن النبي ﷺ كان إذا دخل العشر أحيا الليل وأيقظ أهله وشد المئزر قال سفيان واحدة من آخر وجد
Its isnad is sahih. Ibn Ubayd is Abdul-Rahman bin Ubayd bin Nistas. And Qays is Ibn Muslim Jadali, and both of them are relied upon by everyone.The hadith was narrated by Bukhari 4/269 no. 2024, concerning the merit of Laylat al-Qadr, and Muslim 2/832 no. 1174, concerning itikaf, and Abu Dawud 2/50 no. 1376, concerning prayer, and Nasai 3/217 no. 1639, concerning night prayer, and Ibn Majah 1/562 no. 1768, concerning fasting, and Ibn Khuzayma 3/341 no. 2214, and Humaydi 1/97 no. 18.
