Alqama and his companions set out for Hajj. Some of them mentioned the matter of a fasting person kissing or being intimate with his wife, when one of the men among them, who had been performing voluntary night prayer and fasting for two years, stood up and said, "I have a mind to take my bow and strike you with it!"Alqama said, "Hold off until you reach Ayesha."So they went to Ayesha and asked her about it. Ayesha said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to kiss and be intimate with his wives while fasting, and he had the most control over his desires among you."They said, "Abu Shibl, ask her."He replied, "I will not speak of such matters in her presence today."So they asked her, and she said, "He used to kiss and be intimate while fasting."
