A woman came to her with her two daughters. She gave the woman a date, and the woman split it between her two daughters. When she mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "Whoever is tested with anything from these daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Fire."
حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن عروة
أن امرأة دخلت عليها ومعها ابنتان لها فأعطيتها تمرة فشقتها بينهما فذكرت ذلك لرسول الله ﷺ فقال من ابتلي بشيء من هذه البنات فأحسن إليهن كن له سترا من النار
