The Messenger of Allah ﷺ swore that he would not enter upon his wives for a month. She said that he stayed away for twenty-nine days.She said, "I was the first one he came to, so I said to the Prophet ﷺ, 'Did you not swear off for a month? I have counted the days, and they are only twenty-nine.'"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "A month can be twenty-nine days."
حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري عن عروة بن الزبير
أقسم رسول الله ﷺ أن لا يدخل على نسائه شهرا قالت فلبث تسعا وعشرين قالت فكنت أول من بدأ به فقلت للنبي ﷺ أليس كنت أقسمت شهرا فعدت الأيام تسعا وعشرين فقال النبي ﷺ الشهر تسع وعشرون
