Abu Bakr entered upon her while two girls were with her playing the tambourine. Abu Bakr scolded them, but the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Leave them be, for every people has a festival."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر قال حدثنا معمر قال أنبأنا ابن شهاب عن عروة
أن أبا بكر دخل عليها وعندها جاريتان تضربان بدفين فانتهرهما أبو بكر فقال له النبي ﷺ دعهن فإن لكل قوم عيدا
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators are trustworthy and well known, and the hadith was narrated by Bukhari 2/440, no. 494, Fath, in "The Two Eids", by Muslim 2/607, no. 1593, by Nasai 1/189, no. 1898, and by Ibn Majah 1/612, no. 1898, in "Marriage".
