Ayesha reported,

She reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would begin the prayer with takbir and with the recitation of "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds." When he bowed in ruku, he did not raise his head, and Yahya's wording was, "he did not lift his head up nor let it drop down, but kept it level between the two." When he raised his head from ruku, he did not go down into sujud until he had straightened up fully, and when he raised his head from sujud, he did not go down again until he was sitting upright. She continued, "At the end of every two units he would recite the words of greeting. He forbade sitting in the manner of Satan. He would spread out his left foot and keep his right foot upright. He forbade any of us to spread out his forearms on the ground like a dog. And he would conclude the prayer with the closing salutation."Yahya's wording was, "He disliked that a man spread out his forearms the way a beast of prey spreads its paws." He also said "he did not lift his head up" and "the way a beast of prey spreads its paws."
