The water used to wash the Prophet ﷺ after his death would collect in the hollows of his eyelids, and Ali would sip it.

Its isnad is daif because it is disconnected. Jafar bin Muhammad is Sadiq, and he belongs to the generation after the Followers, so he did not reach that event and did not connect the chain to its source.Yahya bin Bayan Ajli is Saduq and was one of the teachers of Ahmad. He was deemed reliable by Yaqub bin Shayba and Ajli, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators. Bukhari gave his biography in Al-Kabir 4/2/313 without mentioning any criticism of him. What was said against him by Ahmad and others concerned only his memory, his change in later life, and the frequency of his errors in his narrations from Thawri.Hasan bin Salih bin Salih Hayy is thiqah and trustworthy. Abu Zura said, "He combined precision, jurisprudence, worship, and asceticism." Abu Hatim said, "He is thiqah, a hafiz, and precise, and whoever criticized him did so without evidence." Bukhari gave his biography in Al-Kabir 1/2/293."Yahsuwhu" means "he drinks it," and in the manuscript designated L it appears as "yahlisuhu."
