Riders would pass by us while we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a state of ihram. When they came alongside us, each of us would draw her outer garment down from her head over her face, and once they had passed, we would uncover our faces again.
حدثنا هشيم قال أنبأنا يزيد بن أبي زياد عن مجاهد
كان الركبان يمرون بنا ونحن مع رسول الله ﷺ محرمات فإذا حاذوا بنا أسدلت إحدانا جلبابها من رأسها على وجهها فإذا جاوزنا كشفناه
