Someone said to Muawiya, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'There is no ruler who shuts his door against the destitute, the needy, and the poor, except that Allah shuts the gates of heaven against his own destitution, need, and poverty.'"
حدثنا يزيد: أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة عن علي البناني، عن أبي الحسن،
لمعاوية: إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: ما من وال يغلق بابه عن ذي الخلة والحاجة والمسكنة، إلا أغلق الله أبواب السماء دون خلته وحاجته ومسكتته.
