Awf bin Malik reported,

Whenever spoils of war came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he would distribute them on the same day, giving the married man two shares and the unmarried man one share.

حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال حدثنا ابن المبارك عن صفوان بن عمر عن عبد الرحمن بن جبير عن أبيه

عن عوف بن مالك قال

كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا أتاه الفيء قسمه من يومه فأعطى الآهل حظين وأعطى العزب حظا
