I sought permission to enter upon the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "Shall I come in entirely, or only part of me?"He replied, "Come in entirely."So I entered, and he was performing a slow, careful ablution. He said to me, "Awf bin Malik, count six things before the Hour. The death of your Prophet, take that as the first. Then the conquest of Jerusalem. Then a plague that will strike you down like sheep dropping dead. Then trials will appear. Then wealth will become so abundant that a man will be given a hundred Dinars and still be displeased with it. Then the Banu al-Asfar will come against you under eighty banners, with twelve thousand men under each banner."

Its isnad is sahih, but there is some discussion regarding whether Hisham bin Yusuf heard from Awf. The hadith has already appeared with the wording, "Six of the signs of the Hour," at 21891.
