Saad was negotiating a price with Abu Rafi, or it was Abu Rafi who was negotiating with Saad, when Abu Rafi said, "Were it not that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'A neighbor has the greater right to what is adjacent to his property,' I would not have sold it to you."Abdul-Razzaq said in his version of the hadith, "And saqab means proximity."

أن سعدا ساوم أبا رافع أو أبو رافع ساوم سعدا فقال أبو رافع لولا أني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول الجار أحق بسقبه ما أعطيتك قال عبد الرزاق في حديثه والسقب القرب
Its isnad is sahih. Ibrahim bin Maysara is Taifi then Makki, and he is trustworthy, firmly reliable, and a hafiz. His hadith is found with the group [of six books]. Amr bin Shareed is Thaqafi then Taifi, and he is trustworthy. His hadith is in the Sahihayn. The hadith has already appeared at 19369.
