Abu Basra reported,

He told me that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has increased you by one prayer, which is the Witr, so pray it between the Isha prayer and the Fajr prayer."Abu Tamim said, Abu Dharr took me by the hand and walked with me through the mosque until we reached Abu Basra, and he said to him, "Did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say what Amr has reported?"Abu Basra replied, "I heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ myself."

حدثنا علي بن إسحاق حدثنا عبد الله يعني ابن المبارك أنبأنا سعيد بن يزيد حدثني ابن هبيرة عن أبي تميم الجيشاني أن عمرو بن العاص خطب الناس يوم الجمعة فقال إن

أبا بصرة

حدثني أن النبي ﷺ قال إن الله زادكم صلاة وهي الوتر فصلوها فيما بين صلاة العشاء إلى صلاة الفجر قال أبو تميم فأخذ بيدي أبو ذر فسار في المسجد إلى أبي بصرة فقال له أنت سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول ما قال عمرو قال أبو بصرة أنا سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ
