The Prophet ﷺ saw a man praying two units of prayer after the dawn prayer, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Is the dawn prayer to be performed twice?"The man replied, "I had not prayed the two units that come before it, so I prayed them just now."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent.

رأى النبي ﷺ رجلا يصلي بعد صلاة الصبح ركعتين فقال رسول الله ﷺ أصلاة الصبح مرتين فقال الرجل إني لم أكن صليت الركعتين اللتين قبلهما فصليتهما الآن قال فسكت رسول الله ﷺ
