I read in the Torah that the blessing of food lies in performing wudu after it. I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him of what I had read in the Torah.He said, "The blessing of food lies in performing wudu before it and performing wudu after it."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا قيس بن الربيع حدثنا أبو هاشم عن زاذان
قرأت في التوراة بركة الطعام الوضوء بعده قال فذكرت ذلك لرسول الله ﷺ وأخبرته بما قرأت في التوراة فقال بركة الطعام الوضوء قبله والوضوء بعده
