The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Salman, do not hate me, lest you abandon your religion."I replied, "Messenger of Allah, how could I hate you when it is through you that Allah guided us?"He said, "You would hate the Arabs, and so come to hate me."
حدثنا شجاع بن الوليد قال ذكره قابوس بن أبي ظبيان عن أبيه
قال لي رسول الله ﷺ يا سلمان لا تبغضني فتفارق دينك قال قلت يا رسول الله وكيف أبغضك وبك هدانا الله قال تبغض العرب فتبغضني
