He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Standing guard for a day and a night in the path of Allah is like fasting and praying through an entire month. If the guard dies, the reward of his post continues for him until the Day of Resurrection, and he is protected from the trial of the grave."
حدثنا معاوية بن عمرو حدثنا أبو إسحاق عن زائدة عن محمد بن إسحاق عن جميل بن أبي ميمونة عن أبي زكريا الخزاعي
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول رباط يوم وليلة في سبيل الله كصيام شهر وقيامه إن مات جرى عليه أجر المرابط حتى يبعث ويؤمن الفتان
Its chain of transmission is sahih, and it is like the preceding one.
