The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had wiped his face during the year of the Conquest.
حدثنا يزيد بن عبد ربه حدثنا محمد بن حرب حدثني الزبيدي عن الزهري
وكان رسول الله ﷺ قد مسح وجهه زمن الفتح
Its isnad is sahih. Zubaydi is Muhammad bin Walid, and Muhammad bin Harb is Khawlani. Both are reliable narrators whose hadiths appear in Sahihayn, and the hadith is like the one before it.
