Saad reported,

The people had been ordered to fast a certain day, and partway through the day a man came and said, "Messenger of Allah, so-and-so and so-and-so have been overcome by exhaustion."The Prophet ﷺ turned away from him, or else said nothing. Then the man came back, and I think the narrator said it was at the height of noon, and said, "Prophet of Allah, by Allah, the two of them have died, or are on the verge of dying!"He said, "Bring them to me."So the two women came. A cup, or a large bowl, was brought, and he said to one of them, "Vomit."She vomited pus, or blood and matter and flesh, until she had filled half the cup. Then he said to the other, "Vomit."She too vomited pus and blood and matter and raw flesh and other things, until she filled the cup. Then he said, "These two fasted from what Allah had made lawful for them and broke their fast on what Allah عز وجل had forbidden them. One of them sat down with the other, and they set about eating the flesh of people."
