I was with Abu Uthman when a man from the group said, "Saad," or "Ubayd," Uthman bin Ghiyath being uncertain which, "the freedman of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reported to us that they were commanded to fast. Then a man came during part of the day and said, 'Messenger of Allah, so-and-so and so-and-so have been overcome by exhaustion.'" He then mentioned the meaning of the hadith of Yazid and Ibn Abu Ubayd from Sulayman.
