Mahmud bin Labeed reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah 
protects His believing servant from the world while loving him, just as you protect your sick from food and drink, fearing what they might do to him."

عن محمود بن لبيد
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن الله عز وجل ليحمي عبده المؤمن من الدنيا وهو يحميه كما تحمون مريضكم من الطعام والشراب تخافونه عليه
Its chain is sahih. Amr bin Abu Amr is the Madani, freedman of Muttalib, and Asim bin Umar bin Qatada is the Ansari. Both are reliable narrators whose hadiths are accepted by the group. The hadith was mentioned by Haythami 2/291 and Munziri 4/283, and both said, "Its narrators are reliable."23513m With this same chain, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah loves a people, He tests them. Whoever bears it with patience receives the reward of patience, and whoever shows impatience receives the burden of impatience." Sahih (23513m)Its chain is sahih. Haythami said, 2/291, "Its narrators are reliable." Tirmidhi said, 4/601, number 2396, "Hasan gharib." Ibn Majah also related it, 2/1338, number 4031, all of them from Anas, and Abdul-Razzaq, 20311.
