The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only had Ayesha perform umrah on the night of Hasbah to put an end to a practice of the polytheists. They used to say, "Once the camels' backs have healed, the tracks have faded, and Safar has begun, then umrah becomes permissible for whoever wishes to perform it."
