The Prophet ﷺ said, "When you hear a hadith from me that your hearts recognize, that softens your hair and your skin, and that seems near to you, then I am the closest of you to it. And when you hear a hadith from me that your hearts reject, that your hair and skin shrink from, and that seems distant from you, then I am the furthest of you from it."Ubayd bin Abu Qurra was uncertain about the two narrators, so he said, "From Abu Humayd or Abu Usayd." He also said, "that seems near to you," and Abu Saeed was uncertain about one of the two phrases, "When you hear a hadith from me."
حدثنا أبو عامر حدثنا سليمان بن بلال عن ربيعة بن أبي عبد الرحمن عن عبد الملك بن سعيد بن سويد
أن النبي ﷺ قال إذا سمعتم الحديث عني تعرفه قلوبكم وتلين له أشعاركم وأبشاركم وترون أنه منكم قريب فأنا أولاكم به وإذا سمعتم الحديث عني تنكره قلوبكم وتنفر منه أشعاركم وأبشاركم وترون أنه منكم بعيد فأنا أبعدكم منه وشك فيهما عبيد بن أبي قرة فقال عن أبي حميد أو أبي أسيد وقال ترون أنكم منه قريب وشك أبو سعيد في أحدهما في إذا سمعتم الحديث عني
