They asked, "Messenger of Allah, how should we send blessings upon you?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Say, 'O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, his wives, and his descendants, as You sent blessings upon the family of Ibrahim. And bless Muhammad, his wives, and his descendants, as You blessed the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.'"
قال قرأت على عبد الرحمن: مالك عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر عن أبيه عن عمرو بن سليم أنه قال أخبرني
أنهم قالوا يا رسول الله كيف نصلي عليك فقال رسول الله ﷺ قولوا اللهم صل على محمد وأزواجه وذريته كما صليت على آل إبراهيم وبارك على محمد وأزواجه وذريته كما باركت على آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد
