Abu Ayub reported,

He related that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ was staying in the lower part of our house while I was in the upper room. Some water spilled in the upper room, so Umm Ayub and I rushed to soak it up with a velvet cloth of ours, fearing that the water might seep down to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I then went down to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, anxious, and said, "Messenger of Allah, it is not proper for us to be above you. Move up to the upper room."So the Prophet ﷺ gave orders for his belongings to be moved up, and his belongings were few.I said, "Messenger of Allah, you used to send food to me, and when I would look at it, if I saw the trace of your fingers in it, I would place my hand there. But this food you sent today, I looked into it and did not see the trace of your fingers in it."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Yes, that is because there was onion in it, and I disliked eating it because of the angel who comes to me. As for you, eat it."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, I said to my father Ubayy, "A man said that whoever prays the two units after Maghrib in the mosque has not fulfilled it. He must pray them at home, because the Prophet ﷺ said, 'These are among the prayers of the home.'"He asked, "Who said this?"I answered, "Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman."He said, "How well he has spoken," or he said, "How well he has reported."

حدثه أن نبي الله ﷺ نزل في بيتنا الأسفل وكنت في الغرفة فأهريق ماء في الغرفة فقمت أنا وأم أيوب بقطيفة لنا نتبع الماء شفقة يخلص الماء إلى رسول الله ﷺ فنزلت إلى رسول الله ﷺ وأنا مشفق فقلت يا رسول الله إنه ليس ينبغي أن نكون فوقك انتقل إلى الغرفة فأمر النبي ﷺ بمتاعه فنقل ومتاعه قليل فقلت يا رسول الله كنت ترسل إلي بالطعام فأنظر فإذا رأيت أثر أصابعك وضعت يدي فيه حتى إذا كان هذا الطعام الذي أرسلت به إلي فنظرت فيه فلم أر فيه أثر أصابعك فقال رسول الله ﷺ أجل إن فيه بصلا فكرهت أن آكله من أجل الملك الذي يأتيني وأما أنتم فكلوه قال أبو عبد الرحمن قلت لأبي إن رجلا قال من صلى ركعتين بعد المغرب في المسجد لم يجزه إلا أن يصليها في بيته لأن النبي ﷺ قال هذه من صلوات البيوت قال من قال هذا قلت محمد بن عبد الرحمن قال ما أحسن ما قال أو قال ما أحسن ما نقل
