Miswar bin Makhrama and Ibn Abbas disagreed about whether a person in the state of ihram may wash his head.Ibn Abbas said, "He may wash it."Miswar said, "He may not wash it."So they sent me to Abu Ayub to ask him. I found him pouring water over his head. Then he moved his hands forward and backward over his hair and said, "This is how I saw the Prophet ﷺ do it."
