He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest," repeating this three times. "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him treat his neighbor well. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد حدثنا أبو غفار
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليكرم ضيفه ثلاث مرار من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليحسن إلى جاره من كان يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فليقل خيرا أو ليسكت
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Ghifar is Tai, whose name is Muthanna bin Saad, or Saeed. Ibn Hibban rated him trustworthy, and others accepted him before that. The hadith has already appeared at 16322.
