A man reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon at the time of the Conquest, and on one occasion he said it was on the day of the Conquest of Mecca. He said, "There is no god but Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, granted victory to His servant, and defeated the confederates by Himself. Behold, every claim to honor, every privilege, every blood debt, and every wealth claim is beneath these two feet of mine, except for the custodianship of the Kabah and the providing of water to the pilgrims. Behold, the victim of an intentional mistake," Khalid said, or he said, "the victim of a mistake resembling intentional killing, the one slain by a whip or a stick, the blood-money for him is one hundred camels, of which forty are pregnant females carrying their young."

عن رجل من أصحاب النبي ﷺ قال

خطب رسول الله ﷺ زمن الفتح وقال مرة يوم فتح مكة فقال لا إله إلا الله وحده صدق وعده ونصر عبده وهزم الأحزاب وحده ألا إن كل مأثرة تعد وتدعى ودم ومال تحت قدمي هاتين إلا سدانة البيت أو سقاية الحاج ألا وإن قتيل خطإ العمد قال خالد أو قال قتيل الخطإ شبه العمد قتيل السوط والعصا مائة من الإبل منها أربعون في بطونها أولادها
