The Prophet ﷺ said that a man died and entered Paradise. He was asked, "What did you used to do?" Either he remembered on his own or was reminded, and he said, "I used to do business with people. I would give the one in difficulty more time, and I would be lenient regarding the coin or the currency." So he was forgiven.Abu Masud said, "And I heard this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن ربعي بن حراش
عن النبي ﷺ أن رجلا مات فدخل الجنة فقيل له ما كنت تعمل قال فإما ذكر وإما ذكر فقال إني كنت أبايع الناس فكنت أنظر المعسر وأتجوز في السكة أو في النقد فغفر له فقال أبو مسعود وأنا سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ
