I had a sharp tongue with my family, though I did not extend it to anyone else. I mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "Where are you with regard to seeking forgiveness, Hudhayfa? I seek Allah's forgiveness one hundred times every day and turn to Him in repentance."He said, I mentioned this to Abu Burda bin Ubayy Musa, and he narrated to me from Ubayy Musa that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I seek Allah's forgiveness one hundred times every day and night and turn to Him in repentance."
Its isnad is daif because Abu Mughira is unknown. He was named on another occasion as Ubayd in 23264, but Abu Ishaq was the only one who reported from him, as they said, so he is unknown. The hadith is sahih and has already appeared in 9769, and will also come sahih in 23355.
