A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I saw in a dream that I met some of the People of the Book, and they said, 'What an excellent people you would be, if only you did not say, "What Allah wills and Muhammad wills."'"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I have always disliked this expression from you. Say instead, 'What Allah wills, then what Muhammad wills.'"

أتى رجل النبي ﷺ فقال إني رأيت في المنام أني لقيت بعض أهل الكتاب فقال نعم القوم أنتم لولا أنكم تقولون ما شاء الله وشاء محمد فقال النبي ﷺ قد كنت أكرهها منكم فقولوا ما شاء الله ثم شاء محمد
