A man from the tribe of Banu Fazarah came to the Prophet ﷺ with some lizards he had hunted. The Prophet ﷺ began turning one of the lizards over before him and said, "A nation was transformed."To the best of my knowledge, he said, "I do not know what was done to them," and he added, "I do not know, perhaps this is from them."Shuba said, "I heard it," and Husayn reported from Zayd bin Wahb from Hudhayfah, who mentioned something similar to this, saying that the Prophet ﷺ neither commanded anyone to eat it nor forbade anyone from doing so.
