Umar said to Abu Ubayda bin Jarra, "Stretch out your hand so that I may pledge allegiance to you, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'You are the trustworthy one of this nation.'"Abu Ubayda replied, "I would never step forward ahead of a man whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded to lead us in prayer, and who continued to lead us until he died."

قال عمر لأبي عبيدة بن الجراح ابسط يدك حتى أبايعك فإني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول أنت أمين هذه الأمة فقال أبو عبيدة ما كنت لأتقدم بين يدي رجل أمره رسول الله ﷺ أن يؤمنا فأمنا حتى مات
Its isnad is daif because of a break in the chain. Abul-Bakhtari is Saeed bin Fayruz, a trustworthy tabii, but he did not meet Umar, so his narration from him is a mursal report. Haythami said the same thing in 5/183. Muslim al-Batin is Ibn Imran, and he is also said to be Ibn Abu Imran. Ismail bin Sumay al-Hanafi al-Kufi is a trustworthy and reliable tabii.
