The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The merit of a house close to the mosque over a house far from it is like the merit of the warrior over the one who stays behind."
حدثنا موسى بن داود حدثنا ابن لهيعة عن بكر بن عمرو عن أبي عبد الملك
قال رسول الله ﷺ فضل الدار القريبة من المسجد على الدار الشاسعة كفضل الغازي على القاعد
Its isnad is daif. Abu Abdul-Malik is Ali bin Yazid Alhani Dimashqi, who is daif when he narrates alone, but moreover he did not hear from Huzaifa. Haythami (2/16) judged it daif on account of Ibn Lahia, without pointing out the disconnection in the chain.
