I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "I will arrive at the Pool before you. Whoever comes to it will succeed. Then groups of people will be brought forward and taken away to the left, and I will say, 'My Lord!' But it will be said, 'They never ceased turning back on their heels after you left them.'"
حدثنا عثمان بن محمد قال عبد الله بن أحمد وسمعته أنا منه حدثنا جرير عن ليث بن أبي سليم عن عبد الملك بن سعيد عن سعيد بن جبير
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول أنا فرطكم على الحوض فمن ورد أفلح ويؤتى بأقوام فيؤخذ بهم ذات الشمال فأقول أي رب فيقال ما زالوا بعدك يرتدون على أعقابهم

Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Malik bin Saeed bin Jubayr is trustworthy, Bukhari cited him, Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators, and Daraqutni said, "His hadiths are rare, and he is trustworthy." He narrates from his father and from Ikrima. The hadith is abridged, 2281, 2282.
