Hudhayfah was told that Abu Musa used to urinate into a flask, saying that whenever urine touched any part of the body of the Children of Israil, they would cut that spot off.Hudhayfah said, "I wish your companion would not be so strict in this matter. I remember walking with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until we came to a refuse heap behind a wall. He stood and urinated just as any of you would. I started to move away from him, but he said, 'Come closer.' So I drew near him until I was standing right at his heels."
حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن أبي وائل
بلغه أن أبا موسى كان يبول في قارورة ويقول إن بني إسرائيل كانوا إذا أصاب أحدهم البول قرض مكانه قال حذيفة وددت أن صاحبكم لا يشدد هذا التشديد لقد رأيتني نتماشى مع رسول الله ﷺ فانتهينا إلى سباطة فقام يبول كما يبول أحدكم فذهبت أتنحى عنه فقال ادنه فدنوت منه حتى كنت عند عقبه
Its isnad is sahih, its narrators being well-known and trustworthy. Jareer is Ibn Hazim, Mansur is Ibn Muutamir, and Abu Waail is Shaqiq bin Salama. The hadith has already appeared at 23134.
