He passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was seated at the door of his mosque, clasping his knees with his arms wrapped around them. He was wearing a cotton garment with no other garment over it, and he was saying, "The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim. He does not wrong him nor forsake him." Then he pointed with his hand to his chest and said, "Piety is here, piety is here."
حدثنا أبو عامر حدثنا عباد يعني ابن راشد عن الحسن
أنه مر على رسول الله ﷺ وهو قاعد على باب مسجده محتب وعليه ثوب له قطن ليس عليه ثوب غيره وهو يقول المسلم أخو المسلم لا يظلمه ولا يخذله ثم أشار بيده إلى صدره يقول التقوى هاهنا التقوى هاهنا
