I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "A man may draw so near to Paradise that there is only an arm's length between him and it, then he utters a word, and he is thrust farther from it than the distance to Sanaa."

سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن الرجل ليدنو من الجنة حتى ما يكون بينه وبينها إلا قيد ذراع فيتكلم بالكلمة فيتباعد منها أبعد من صنعاء
