The Prophet ﷺ said during the expedition to Tabuk, "If a plague strikes a land while you are not in it, do not enter it. And if it strikes a land while you are in it, do not leave it."

أن النبي ﷺ قال في غزوة تبوك إذا وقع الطاعون بأرض ولستم بها فلا تهجموا عليها وإذا وقع بها وأنتم بها فلا تخرجوا منها
