An Arabi came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, hardship has consumed us."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Something other than hardship is what I fear for you more than hardship itself. The world will be poured upon you in abundance. How I wish my nation would not wear gold."

أن أعرابيا أتى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله أكلتنا الضبع فقال رسول الله ﷺ غير الضبع عندي أخوف عليكم من الضبع إن الدنيا ستصب عليكم صبا فيا ليت أمتي لا تلبس الذهب
