For six years Junada bin Abu Umaya was placed over us. He stood and addressed us, saying, "We went to a man from the Ansar, one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We entered upon him and said, 'Tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and do not tell us what you heard from people.' We pressed him on this, and he said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and said,"I warn you of the Masih. He has one eye wiped out." I think he said, "the left one. With him will travel mountains of bread and rivers of water. His sign is that he will remain on the earth for forty mornings, and his authority will reach every watering place. He will not enter four mosques, the Kaabah, the Mosque of the Messenger, the Aqsa Mosque, and Tur. Whatever happens of this, know that Allah is not one-eyed."'"Ibn Awn said, "And I think he also said, 'He will be given power over one man, whom he will kill and then bring back to life, but he will not be given such power over anyone else.'"
