The Messenger of Allah ﷺ counted them out on my hand, or on his own hand, "Saying 'Subhan Allah' is half the scale, 'Alhamdulillah' fills it, 'Allahu Akbar' fills what is between the heavens and the earth, fasting is half of patience, and purification is half of faith."
حدثنا وكيع عن يونس بن أبي إسحاق قال سمعت جري بن كليب النهدي
عدهن رسول الله ﷺ في يدي أو في يده التسبيح نصف الميزان والحمد لله تملؤه والتكبير يملأ ما بين السماء والأرض والصوم نصف الصبر والطهور نصف الإيمان
