The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took me to a place in the desert near Mecca. It was a patch of dry ground surrounded by sand. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Beast will emerge from this very spot," indicating an area of one span by four fingers.
حدثنا علي بن بحر حدثنا أبو تميلة بالمثناة يحيى بن واضح الأزدي أخبرني خالد بن عبيد أبو عصام حدثنا
ذهب بي رسول الله ﷺ إلى موضع بالبادية قريبا من مكة فإذا أرض يابسة حولها رمل فقال رسول الله ﷺ تخرج الدابة من هذا الموضع فإذا فتر في شبر
Its chain is daif because of Khalid bin Ubaydullah Abu Isam. Scholars deemed him daif despite his greatness, his standing in virtue, and his abundance of worship, to the point that Ibn Mubarak used to serve him because of his greatness. Ibn Adi said, "I did not find him to have any objectionable hadith." The hadith was also narrated by Ibn Majah, 2/1352, number 4067, and it was deemed daif because of him in Zawaid. Bukhari likewise deemed it daif in Tarikh al-Kabir, 3/162, number 554.
