The Prophet ﷺ performed all the prayers on the day of the Conquest with a single ablution.Umar said to him, "You have done something you did not used to do."He replied, "I did it deliberately."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن سفيان حدثني علقمة بن مرثد
أن النبي ﷺ صلى الصلوات بوضوء واحد يوم الفتح فقال له عمر إنك صنعت شيئا لم تكن تصنعه قال عمدا صنعته
Its isnad is sahih, and it is found in Muslim 1/232 no. 277, Abu Dawud 1/44 no. 172, and Tirmidhi 1/89 no. 61, who said, hasan sahih, and Nasai 1/86 no. 133, and Darimi 1/176 no. 659, all of them in the Book of Purification.
