The Prophet ﷺ prayed Zuhr at Dhul Hulayfah, then called for his sacrificial camel, or it was brought to him, and he marked the right side of its hump, wiped away the blood from it, and hung two sandals around its neck as a garland. Then he went to his mount, and when he sat upon it and it rose with him onto the open plain of Bayda, he entered the state of ihram for Hajj.

أن النبي ﷺ صلى الظهر بذي الحليفة ثم دعا ببدنته أو أتي ببدنته فأشعر صفحة سنامها الأيمن ثم سلت الدم عنها وقلدها بنعلين ثم أتى راحلته فلما قعد عليها واستوت به على البيداء أهل بالحج
